Betsy Taylor, PrincipalBetsy Taylor specializes in fund development, strategic planning and marketing. Prior to focusing exclusively on consulting, Betsy most recently served as Vice President of Marketing for a hospital system in Georgia and as President of that system’s health foundation. She also served as the senior fundraising executive in creating charitable foundations for an 800-bed health system in North Carolina and a 450-bed health system in Tennessee. Betsy has achieved accreditation as a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) and completed all five courses in the fundraising program offered by the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy in collaboration with the University of Wisconsin School of Business. In addition to her work in nonprofits, Betsy managed press logistics for Senators Bob and Elizabeth Dole in eleven states during the 1996 presidential campaign. She has also worked as a Television News Producer for network affiliates across the Southeast. She holds a Master’s degree from Columbia University in New York and a B.A. from Furman University. She is currently finishing her M.B.A. at the University of Georgia.Ed ChapinEd Chapin specializes in implementing electronic commerce and interactive marketing using internet technology. He designs and implements web sites, databases and applications to create and maintain web site content. He graduated from Princeton University in Electrical Engineering and received an MBA from Emory University. With 35 years of experience in management and technology implementation, he has also completed a certificate in internet technology from the Graduate School of Computer Science at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. His background in both management and computer technology uniquely qualifies him in the creation and implementation of business and fundraising plans, web sites and databases. |
